Q: What is the Affiliate Program?
 
  A: It’s a community of webmasters, Internet developers and entrepreneurs who earn commissions for promoting SouthEastPlaza. Affiliates earn commissions when their customers purchase goods from SouthEastPlaza.com.  
  Q: Why should I join and become an Affiliate?  
  A: Joining the Affiliate Program offers you an opportunity to increase your income, without the need to warehouse, distribute or ship merchandise.  
  Q: Is the Affiliate Program free?  
  A: Yes! There is absolutely no cost to become an Affiliate. Join now and start earning money today.  
  Q: How do I register?  
  A: First, complete our online form. Then, read and accept our Affiliate Agreement. Send us an email introducing yourself along with any questions you might have. We will contact you with information on how to get started. It's easy, fast, and free.

 

Earnings/Compensation

 
Q: What is the payment structure for the Affiliate Program?
 
  A: Commissions are paid at a rate of 10% of the gross sale.  The sales amount does not include sales tax, shipping or other additional charges associated with the items sold.  
 
Q: How do I know my customers are my customers?
 
  A: When a customer establishes his/her account, they are required to select a sales rep.  We highly recommend that you either establish or assist the customer in establishing their account, so as to ensure that the correct sales rep is selected.  
  Q: How often are affiliates paid?  
  A: Affiliates are paid twice each month, on the 1st and 15th of the month. Commissions are paid on all sales for the previous period, minus returns and chargebacks.  After each calendar month, we generate a report to determine the total amount of revenues.   You can track daily, monthly, quarterly and even yearly earnings from you affiliate login.  
  Q: Do affiliates have any payment options?  
  A: You can collect earnings either by check (which will be mailed to you) or direct deposit.  
 
Q: Are commissions paid once for each customer?
 
  A: No.  Each customer you sign up or secure is your customer.  You will receive commissions on each order placed by your customer as long as you are an affiliate in good standing, and your customer continues to purchase from SouthEastPlaza.com.  

 

Tiered Affiliates

 
Q: Do affiliates earn commission on referred affiliates?
 
  A: No.  The commission structure does not allow payments on a tiered system.  This does not however prohibit you from advising others of the opportunity to make extra income.  


 

Eligibility

 
Q: Are all websites and businesses eligible to become an affiliate?
 
  A: While we'd like everyone to promote , there are cases where we can’t allow certain sites to participate in our Affiliate Program. We evaluate all affiliate applications and notify each applicant of acceptance or rejection. We may reject any affiliate application if we determine, at our sole discretion, that a site is unsuitable for the program. Unsuitable sites include but not limited to those that:
bulletPromote sexually explicit materials
bulletPromote violence
bulletPromote illegal activities
bulletPromote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
bulletInclude "SouthEastPlaza" or variations or misspellings thereof in their domain names
bulletOtherwise violate intellectual property rights

If we reject your application, you’re welcome to reapply to the program at any time. Also note that if we accept your application and your site is determined, at our sole discretion, to be unsuitable for the Program at a later date, we may terminate your affiliate membership.

 
  Q: Am I eligible to participate in the Affiliate Program if I reside outside the United States?  
  A: No. Currently we cannot accept applications from affiliates based outside the US.  
  Q: Can I participate in other affiliate programs?  
  A: Yes. Our program is non-exclusive.  
  Q: Is a business license required to participate in the program?  
  A: No. Our affiliates may be either an individual or a formal business/company. Upon registration, individuals must enter their Social Security Number in lieu of a Tax ID/Business License. Corporations or companies are required to provide a Tax ID number.

You are required to complete form FW9, sign and send to the address on the top right of the form.

Q: Do you provide marketing tools?
 
  A: Yes.  We provide banners that may be included on your website, and also used in our banner exchange program.  
 
Q: Can I create my own marketing materials?
 
  A: Yes.  However, all marketing materials such as classified ads, email, etc, MUST be approved by SouthEastPlaza prior to being ussed.  

 

My Account

 
Q: Are commissions paid once for each customer?

Reporting

 
Q: How can I keep up with my commissions?
 
  A: When you register as an affiliate, you can check the option to receive an email each time one of your customers place an order.  You can also view your sales and commissions on the affiliate login page.  
 
Q: Can I create my own marketing materials?
 
  A: Yes.  However, all marketing materials such as classified ads, email, etc, MUST be approved by SouthEastPlaza prior to being ussed.  

 

Income Tax

 
Q: Do you withhold income tax?
 
  A: No.  Being a commissioned sales rep, you're not considered an employee, and thus income tax is NOT withheld from your commission payments.  You are however required to report earnings, and we will provide you with a 1099 at the years end.  You will be required to provide us with a taxpayer id, complete name and address, by completing form W-9.  
 
Q: Can I create my own marketing materials?
 
  A: Yes.  However, all marketing materials such as classified ads, email, etc, MUST be approved by SouthEastPlaza prior to being ussed.  

 

Prohibited Practices

 
Q: Are there any prohibited practices?
 
  A: Yes.. Since you are representing SouthEastPlaza, it is important to us that we project a positive image.  Therefore, we do not condone nor allow actions that are not generally accepted, including but not limited to:

bulletSpam Emails
bulletFalse advertising

If you are unsure if a marketing action is acceptable, please inquire before engaging in such.
